How to use the fault finder
This refrigeration and air conditioning fault finder from Climate Flow Limited is a guide to common symptoms in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and domestic boilers, for businesses and homeowners in London and surrounding areas. It helps you describe what the equipment is doing before you call; it is a guide, not a diagnosis.
Refrigerant and gas work is for a certified engineer. F gas means the refrigerants used in refrigeration and air conditioning. Under UK F gas rules it is against the law to work with F gas without the correct qualifications. Anyone employed to work on gas appliances in a home must be a Gas Safe registered engineer. If you smell gas, National Gas advises calling 0800 111 999, opening doors and windows, and not turning electrical switches on or off.
GOV.UK guidance says chilled food must be kept at 8°C or below, so a fridge or cold room running warm needs attention. For anything the guide does not settle, contact Climate Flow with the make, what the equipment is doing and any error code.
This guide is general information, not a survey or a quote for your site; every system is different, so an engineer needs to see yours before any work is priced.
